ILLINOIS PEOPLE: I'll be reading and signing at Anderson's Bookshop in Naperville this Wednesday from 7-8 PM. If you'd rather I not come to your state, now's the time to say something.
I'm very sad I am out of Illinois this week, because you are my 10-year-old son's very favorite author (and one of mine too). He looks for a sequel to The True Meaning of Smekday every time we go to a bookstore. He first read it two years ago and rereads it just about once a month.
Man, that's amazing. I wish I could tell you there's one forthcoming, though I've been thinking about it lately. Better not tell him that, though– such a thing wouldn't be appearing in any stores soon.
I'm about halfway through 'Cold Cereal', and I've learned to be cautious about reading it in public because shrieking with laughter when you're by yourself gets looks. Adam, which of your venues at the TFOB will be best for signing? Still want to get 'Fat Vampire' signed too.

I vote for a Smekday sequel, too (were we voting?). I won't be in Illinois, but let me know if you're coming to Maryland! Pam
Cool! See you Wednesday!
PS. A Smekday Two would be quite awesome.
I won't promise him, but he will be thrilled to know that you are thinking about it. Thanks so much. I'm sorry to miss you this time.

Thanks, Gina! I'll post a full schedule and answer that question soon about the TFoB. Not sure offhand.
Good another post :)
