Maybe Mr. Caldecott will agree. And by the way, "Barnes & Noble" was one person. His Name was Barneson Noble and he was the royal librarian to the Royal Sultan of Himjib, near Turkey. After being caught dancing the foxtrot with the Sultan's daughter, he fled to New York and opened a book shop at 5th Ave and 17th Street. And wait til you hear the story about old Fred Borders, Bea Dalton and their son, Walden.
Big congrats, Adam. It's a great book, and it holds a special place on my daughter's bookshelf, along with it's predecessor.
I remember "discovering" you with your FRANKENSTEIN MAKES A SANDWICH book, and wasted no time in bringing it in to my Senior Illustration class for "show 'n' tell"! I was then inspired to interview you (via email) for my Portfolio class project (thanks again for agreeing to that, btw)! If I were still in school, I would have brought in FRANK TAKES THE CAKE for more show 'n' tell! My daughter loves that one, as well.
