Early Work

Since moving back to Arizona my mom has dropped by some old drawings and stories of mine that she'd kept. I wrote this when I was seven. I present it now with editorial comments.

Oh God, this is just too cute.
I loved the final editorial comment. Reminds me of the compositions I wrote back in high school. I could not understand what the professor wanted me to change, no matter how many comments...

...and, between you and me...I think I still don't.

I like how you can't spell "building", but "indigestion" proves to be no problem. Very cute :)

You are so lucky your mom saved that! I don't have anything from grade school! (But I do have a story titled "The Guinea Pig Picnic" from high school)
The teacher comment does seem odd to me as well...
Was the rat named Ben?

Incredible story Adam, your love for monsters and Zoo's never went away. How about posting some drawings from this era?

What an awesome tail/tale!

I'd love to see a collection of these with modern interpretive drawings/paintings for them. How great would that be?
