Anyone else notice I haven't posted much art lately?
Unless you count the performance hair art that is my mustache. Here's a cover painting I did for Irene Gallo over at Tor a couple years ago, for a book titled Hawkspar.
Haaa I love this illustration. The waves in the background give it a very unique atmosphere. I love this side of your art. I was looking through the old annual illustration books and found a student work you did its in illustration 34 I believe, and its a pig in a bar. Good stuff back then too. (Mustache is looking good by the way).
OMFG. YOU did that cover art for Holly Lisle's "Hawkspar?" You have no idea how awesome this makes you. Haha...I have read that novel about four times over, it ranks as one of my favorite fiction books of all time, AND it is what made me such a huge Holly Lisle fan. To think I would never have picked it up had it not been for the cover art. I distinctly remember walking briskly past that shelf of books in Barnes and Noble a year ago when THIS cover art caught my eye and compelled me to open the cover! And am I ever glad I did! Well, thanks again- your breathtaking depiction of this awesome character did exactly what I imagine it was intended to do: caught my attention and kept it. I only wish now we had more art depicting this story- and damn I hope there'll be a movie adaptation one day...:)

Beautiful illustration but I think the boy needs a mustache:)
Stop being so awesome, Adam Rex!
(Not really. Continue being awesome.)
Wow this is beautiful, man. Thanks for posting!
