Hello, you don't know me, but i am a big fan of your book, The True Meaning of Smekday. It is my favorite book all time. I think you did a really good job. I am only 1/2 way done with it but still thought it was TOTALLY awesome! I'm at the part when Tip and "Jay Jay" are in the Cheif bears house looking at the space ship *cough* not really *cough* Some things i would like to point out on the book though.

1. The cover was so cool (the cover under it wasn't as good, but still cool) I like to show it to kids that looked at it and was like "Read the cover" and they were like "True the meaning," then they flip the book upsidedown at try to see if that works better.
2.This will be the longest book i have EVER read
3. First book i read pig latin in.
4. LOL... BOOB!
5. The first book i read with a typo.
6. First book i went to bed with. O__o
7.First book that i read 53 pages and then reread the same 53 pages. >__<
8. ummm YOU ROCK!
9. first book that i read with comics... touch the tree. *touch* "HEY THATS ILLEGAL!!!" says boov. (oh sorry BOOOoooooOOOoOOOv) I say, "straw." (get it?)

Any way you are prolly woundering about that typo. *gets book*
ok there are two.

1: page 226 at the botton it says "*salt, Fizz, Animal-Shaped, and Blue"

2: page 241 4th paragraph, starting with "No!" He said.
After first period, it's says "The he peered..."

are they supposed to be there?

And about sleeping with the book... You see i read at night time i read for about 30min every night at about 11:30 so at 12 it was a really long day and i just got done reading, i turned of the light, and put the book off to the left (the side by the wall) and then, when i woke up... i see the book next to me and was like... "WTF??"

Also this being the longest book i've read will soon change, because i have another book named Tunnels that has 471 pages (estimated).

I also want to be a writer when i grow up, it would be so much fun. I have already started one that was a paper for english but it has 9,480 words (the longest story the teacher EVER have had handed in. We just got done reading And Then There Were None, by... that one lady... and we had to write a mystery and mine was titled Jumbed Letters. I tpyed it on my lap top and then saved it to a flash drive and then the library lady got SO ticked because the thing was 10 pages long, and the story didn't fit on 1 staple so i needed to use 2. :(

I have other books in mind but i haven't started typing them, but they are all upstairs (my brain).

Anyway if you would like to contact me then you can find me on Youtube.com with the User Name:
KIRBYISCOTTONCANDY

i will also be on Nsider2.com with the same user name.

you can give me a message asking to read my story if you really wanted.

I wanted to find a way to write this to you to tell you how much your book as been to me. Keep the good.. no, GREAT! work up.

Please write back. ;)

Name:John
Age: 14

P.S. i don't read over what i type, so if you see a misspelled word of a "typo" then ignor it.

Hey, John! I'm so glad you wrote. One of the typos you mentioned is definitely real, and we might be able to fix it before the paperback gets printed. Or we might not, it could be too late.

The first typo you mentioned isn't a typo. Do you see where, on the same page, there's an asterisk after "Four Foo Groups?" The line at the bottom tells you what the Four Foo Groups are.

But you were absolutely right about me accidentally typing "The" instead of "Then." Everyone missed it.

I'm always happy to hear about kids who are getting into writing. I hope you keep at it. Certainly you can send me your story if you want. Just use the email address in my blogger profile.

Take Care,
Adam
