Oh, What A Magic Week It's Been...

...but all things must come to an end, and so Skeleton whispers a cold, inky goodbye.

Skeleton is a highly altered excerpt from a Magic card I painted called "Terror." Ironically, he is perhaps the least terrifying thing about it, so I chose not to publish the image here in its original form. I expect this blog gets a fair number of visits from people who like the way I draw funny animals, and they don't deserve it.

Thank you Adam...I know that painting and it is truly terrifying for all of us who enjoy the safety of cute and furry little creatures.

Been fun viewing these pieces, thanks for posting them!

Hm, while I absolutely love your cute furry creatures, I have extra love for your magic work! It would be great to see more of it posted somewhere.

It's really interesting to see your magic pieces. I remember during your the interview you said these are what paid your bills and got your foot in the door of children's books. I'm glad your posting them, because well I'm in that spot now! I'm trying to find other ways of getting paid and finding work before I can get my first book deal. You're always an inspiration!

You need to start sending work out to editors, 13toon–they're the ones who can tell you if you're ready. My opinion and a buck fifty will buy you a cup of coffee.
