Magic Week Continued
Here's one of my favorites. It's not a Magic card, but rather the cover of a Magic novel that ties in to the newest set. A couple of the fishmen are a little wonky, but I love the old school horror movie dynamic between the main fishman and the seriously unlucky elf. And the bio-luminescent nouveau vines.

I like the "bio-luminescent nouveau vines". Oh, and the way you handled the vines themselves too. :) Cool tension, both with the characters and the contrast of the "below and above" the water level.

Man, I think this id my favorite illustration up to this point. Well actually, I really like the one with the fire fox and the harry whale. This magic week is great. I've been doing a lot of digital painting lately, Shawn. Even this piece started as a digital underpainting, which I printed out and painted over in oils.
For real!!?? Wow man that is so cool. So do you do the sketch digital also?
this one.. is so good. I'm digging it. I especially like the freshness of it, definitely an instant favorite!
Adam is nothing if not "digital." And fella, you draw the best bio-luminescent nouveau vines in the biz.
